Columbus Martial Arts Academy

Columbus Mixed Martial Arts Academy is quickly on its way to becoming a Columbus staple. Operating in the Fountain City for four years, Columbus Mixed Martial Arts Academy is leading it’s community to black belt success one student at a time. The professional staff of coaches and administrators, along with Master Chang (six-time World Muay Thai champion) and Jonathan Swift (black belt under Ricardo de la Riva), provide an unmatched atmosphere for students to achieve their maximum human potential both in the martial arts school and in their personal and professional lives. The CMA facility is a state of the art martial arts training center that has been completely remodeled to offer clients high quality training in 2015. Featuring over 9000 square feet of mat space along with a completely remodeled bag area that students can utilize during class sessions or even during the school’s open mat times, CMA has everything that a student needs to become successful, both on the mat and off.

Columbus Martial Arts is dedicated to building a strong community in Columbus, Georgia. The professional staff at CMA believes that this can only be accomplished through education. Based on this belief, CMA is dedicated to assisting Muscogee County schools, teachers, and administrators through a variety of programs. As Partners in Education, CMA supports Muscogee County schools through Leadership Bootcamps and participating in PIE events to help further grow the program.

Columbus Mixed Martial Arts uses this same approach to community-building within its doors as well. Every new student is interviewed by the professional coaches to ensure that all students are a good fit. CMA has created a community of martial artists dedicated to the Way of the Black Belt and the Code of 47 and committed to not only meeting expectations, but also exceeding them.
